The government provided loans to build shipyards and manufacturing plants. They helped stimulate production in order to produce more and more war assets. They hired Henry J. Kaiser who broke down the process of shipbuilding in order to increase efficiency. America produced an incredible amount of military hardware. They produced: 86,000 tanks; 296,000 airplanes; 15 million rifles and machine guns; 64,000 landing crafts; 6,500 cargo ships and navel vessels. These resources provided a huge advantage in the war effort.

Well the U.S. In the beginning of war did not want to enter it. They wanted to stay netural, but after the soviets were not too strong to keep U.S away. The u.s used tactics such as patriotism, to gain support for the entrance into the war.

The Pearl Harbor which was when Japan blew up Hawaii on their conquest to conquer the Pacific. Also on March 11 FDR allows allies(UK & Canada) to buy weapons and other stuff from the U.S. On August 1 the U.S placed an embargo on oil to the enemies like Japan Germany etc. All this marked out a path way towards war
